My name is Kacey Gardner, but my clients call me Coach Kacey. I'm creating a community of like minded women that want to learn and grow and embrace our divine womanhood.
Woman are amazing and I'm here to remind them of it. On this blog, I'll share empowering ideas for being your best self, encouragement my community with ideas and tips and I'll share empowering projects that help me build courage.
I work with women from all walks of life. I work with mothers, wife's, sisters, working women, homemakers, those wanting to be married, stay married or recently divorced.
In this blog, I will be addressing how women become the "sacrificial lambs" of the family and how this doesn't serve the family and community as a whole. Being put last and not taking care of your needs is not virtuous! Our families need us as women to be developing ourselves to the best we can be.
Have you ever heard of the book The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein? It's a tale of a tree who sacrifices all of herself to a young boy who grows up needing more and more of her. He uses her up until she is a stump and he's a depressed old man. But what if we say no to being used up? What if we set boundaries to the people in our lives who ask too much of us? I promise its for that betterment of those around us to not become the stump at the end of the story!
So I set out to create this community for women like me. And after meeting with several clients and speaking with close friends, I realized how many of us struggle to find the answers and encouragement we need. We are constantly comparing ourselves to an impossible ideal that is blasted in front of us on social media platforms. As they say, we are constantly comparing our worst days to an influencer's best day. I am here to tell you what a façade it is. I want to do better than that.
In my community, my goal is to Empower women to become the best version of themselves, to explore their desires and instill confidence as they learn more about who they truly are. I want to create a community of people who support each other, lift each other up and cheer each other on. Because we need each other. And we need each other as our best selves! This will be a place that you may learn something new but more importantly you can feel a part of something and be uplifted.
As a woman, I'm going to tell you that learning is not the hard part! It is unlearning! We need to unlearn what society, culture, religion, and even family has programmed us to believe about ourselves. I believe that we need to let go of many of the resentments that we are holding onto in order to make room for more sustaining and more beautiful experiences and relationships in our lives. So I hope you'll join me on my journey as I try to add value to yours.
